Please be aware that there is a significant amount of roadworks around Matlock Town’s Proctor Car Stadium at present and instructions to follow a diversion, when entering from Alfreton on the A615, may be expected.

It is encouraged that, as an alternative route, you turn right at the service station, up the A632 toward Chesterfield, before turning left after roughly half a mile.

When opposite the fire station, turn left down a steep turnpike before turning left at the mini roundabout toward the ground.

With school holidays currently in full swing, we’ve been informed that all entrances into Matlock can become busy and it’s advisable to avoid the Matlock Bath route at all costs, especially during rush hour.
