In what has been an injury ravaged campaign so far for the first team who continue to pick up impressive results, club senior officials feared the worst when academy starlet Luca Burton went down off the ball holding his knee on Tuesday nights game against Stockton Town. This ultimately ended his home senior debut short. After only coming on at half time Luca was having a great game and having a real influence within the team in what was a brilliant second half display.

With a precaution of a MRI showing this injury will be months as opposed to season long then the club will support Luca to return to Academy and 1st team football.
